my Last Update on Goldie

She was laid 2 rest 2day.and her BFF;Denrele wrote this emotional tribute 2 her;
My super star friend sways away and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon and someone at my side says “she’s gone”…Gone where?

Gone from my sight, that is all. She is just as gorgeous now as when last I saw her.

Her slightly disappearing figure and total loss from my sight is in me, not in her.

And just at that moment, when someone at my side says she’s gone, there are others who are watching her coming over their horizon and other voices take up a glad shout – There she comes! That is what dying id – An horizon and just the limit of our sight.

My lifeline, my lexicon, Therapist and support system…we have known lots of pleasure, at times endured ppai, we have lived in the sunshine and walked in the rain. I had acute malaria (was shaking terribly) but performed “skibobo” with you at the Industry Night and Loud&Proud show, I sprained my ankle but still shot your three videos in a row in S/A.

I left my family house and moved in with you and your family right after all the Big Brother Africa madness, I did all the damage control….

I fought every organizer simply cos I wanted you on the bill with me and split my show earnings with you, I dragged you to the American Embassy even if it meant I had to get up at 4am. I endured negative criticism because shallow minds couldn’t comprehend your brand essence – I started wearing block heels (you got me the most fabulous pair of Jeffrey Campbells) and I damned the consequences. I recorded the reality show “Tru Friendship” with you because you went on and on about it and I wanted to please you.

I have been your fierce-alter ego in all your videos, I have fought your fights, endured countless eccentric P.As with you…I can go on and on and this is how you leave me? You chose an eternal sleep over a fabulous life with me? Lest I forget, I ate the entire box of birthday chocolates Bola sent to you!

Phew, I can’t type anymore, I’m playing “Good To Me” (always disturbed you to release that song) and my notepad is a misty mass of my never ending tears. So sad when people who give you the best memories, become a memory!

The Goldie I knew, despite your success and worldwide recognition, still wondered, “Am I good enough?” “Am I pretty enough?” “Will they like me?” It was this burden that made you great…And that made you stumble in the end.

Goldie if you can hear me now, you weren’t good just good enough – You were abso-frigging-lutely GREAT! You sang the whole damn song without a band- you made the picture of a showbiz star look so perfect!

Your parting has left a void, but I will fit it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss and oh yes, these things I too will miss. Even though we are separated and for a time apart, I am not alone cos you’re forever in my heart. I will move mountains to continue your legacy, I will crash ceilings to spread your good works, I will break barriers to sell your “market” but above all, I will cherish the awesome times we spent together…You will forever be my source of infinity!

We wore the same shoe size and had the same body proportions. You made me start strutting lashes and recall I wore that black dress of yours you never got to wear? No masterpiece can ever match your face! To everyone reading this piece, let my dear friend rest in peace! Speak no evil about her, she was too good to be true!

I can hear you say to me…Mbirikoko, do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep, Do not stand at my grave and cry…I am not there, I did not die!

Fare well Goldie.......shine on

On a lighter note

Wonders they say,would never END

What exactly will make a man go from a salon to salon collecting people’s hair in exchange for money?

What exactly will make a man go from a salon to salon collecting people’s hair in exchange for money?

This is a question that only a 60-year-old man, Adewale Okunade, a landlord of a house on Segun Olatunji Street, Ijoko, Ota, Ogun State, has its answer.

Okunade, who hails from Oyo State, narrowly escaped being lynched on Thursday when some people in the neighbourhood pounced on him.

They alleged that the hair was being taken to an herbalist in Cotonou, Republic of Benin, who uses it to prepare charms for him.

Some people said they found Okunade’s behaviour bizarre, insisting that there was more to his action.

It was gathered that the man had been in the business for some years but nemesis caught up with him on the fateful day when his ‘business partner’, a bricklayer, gave him away.

An executive member of the Community Development Association said Okunade allegedly confessed that he had been buying human hair.

According to the CDA executive, the victim said he had been using the hair to cure himself of festering sores on his leg.

He said the suspect denied the hair was meant for rituals, saying he used to take the hair to an herbalist to prepare concoctions for his sores.

He said many traditional medicine practitioners who were there when Okunade was apprehended, said human hair could only be used for rituals not for curing sores.

He said, “The suspect’s partner had gone to a barber in their neighbourhood to buy some hair. The barber, however, refused. The suspect sent his partner to go to the barber’s apprentice.

“When they got to the apprentice, he agreed, but unknown to them that the barber was monitoring their movement. The barber decided to lay ambush for them.

“When he (barber) saw them with a cellophane bag, he raised the alarm and  many people in the neighbourhood were drawn to the scene. By the time they checked the contents in the bag, they saw plenty of human hair.

“That was how the community pounced on his partner and started questioning him about the source of the hair. It was in the course of that the partner said it was Okunade who sent him.

“The people moved to Okunade’s house but he was not around. When he came back and people related the incident to him, he left the community the following day.

“By the time he came back, he thought the residents would have forgotten about the incident, but when they saw him, they mobbed him. It was then he explained that he had sores on his leg that refused to heal and that he had been curing them with concoction mixed with human hair.

“The community, not satisfied with his explanation, decided to hand him over to the police at Sango Police Station.”

Another resident, who craved anonymity, said, “We have yet to come to terms with his pedestrian explanation. As for us, he is not saying the whole truth.

“We learnt that he pays between N200,000 and N300,000 for each consignment of hair. You can see that his explanation lacks the essential elements of truth. I am also amazed that human hair has become a cure for sores.”

The spokesman for Ogun State Police Command, Mr. Muyiwa Adejobi, said the story was twisted by the community.

He said the suspect had only solicited for hair because of his festering sores.

Adejobi said, “The story was not like that. The man (Okunade) has a sore and he said he needed human hair to cure the sore. He had not gotten the hair; he only solicited. The community just raised the alarm which resulted in the man’s car being vandalised.

“He reported to the police that his car was being vandalised and that they wanted to kill him. That was how the police mediated to avoid the man being lynched.”
The Nigerian embasaay in the UK have allegedly denied Andrew(Goldie's husband) visa. Goldie’s husband was expected to arrive Nigeria this week to finalize his late wife’s burial plans with her family members -new findings however reveal that the widower is already planning to re-apply at a different embassy so as to make it in time for the burial arrangements. – why was his visa denied?!

Meanwhile eight members of the Nigerian entertainment industry – including Keke Ogungbe and Denrele Edun, paid a condolence visit to Goldie’s family on Sunday evening to discuss the late singer’s burial plans

A family member who pleaded anonymity disclosed that “we would have fixed a burial date but Andrew is the one keeping us waiting, so Keke and Denrele would have to come back when Andrew returns to Nigeria…without Andrew, we can’t proceed with the plans”

Strange:an 8 year- boy marries a 61 year old woman

About 100 people were witness to a most unusual wedding at the weekend. The bride was 61 years old and the groom was an eight-year-old boy!

Both families were present at the wedding of Sanele Masilela (8.) and Helen Shabangu (61) and the bride's husband and her five children were also at the wedding in Zimbabwe.

The boy's aunt, Patience Masilela (46), explained why the wedding took place.

She said: "The boy was named after his late grandfather who never had a white wedding, so the ancestors told the boy to get married and he chose Helen to be his bride. The family took his desire to get married very seriously. They paid for the bride in March last year and spent a lot on the wedding because they believed it was what the ancestors wanted."

The bride said: "I'm married and have five kids of my own, but I know that this is what the ancestors wanted – and now they are happy.
It is a ritual. We are just playing now, but it is a sign that he will get married one day."

The young groom said: "I told my mother that I wanted to get married because I really did want to. I chose her because I love her and I'm happy that I married her – but I will go to school and study hard. When I'm older I will marry a lady my own age."

The bride's long-time husband, Alfred Shabangu (65), said that he never had a problem with her marrying the boy because he too knew that it was what the ancestors wanted. My kids and I are happy. We don't have any problems with it," he said.

However, some community members said they were shocked.
One woman said: "How can a family go this far for the ancestors? It shows that people do take messages from the ancestors seriously."

This was a not a legal marriage – it was only done for ritual purposes. The happy couple seal their marriage with a kiss.
This is what they call arant nonsense in Nigerian movies.

What do Men really want from a lady in a relationship???

Do some of you men really stay with a woman ONLY because she's good in bed? Not because you love her, or because she stimulates your mind, but because she gives good head? Are there men out there that shallow?
My colleague broke up with his girlfriend and when I asked him what happened, he told me sex with her was a bore, that he wanted to try something new.
When my boyfriend and I broke up, the first question my brother asked me was 'weren't you giving him good head?'
Then just recently, a friend of mine told me that the only reason he's dating his girlfriend is because she gives him the best sex ever! Are these three fools the last of their kind or are there more men like th

Cause of Goldie's Death

An autopsy carried out at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital on Goldie has revealed that she died of hypertension.
The autopsy which was conducted on February 19th and signed by Dr. O. Oyewole, revealed that she had a “terminal hypertensive heart disease” which resulted in “intracerebellar haemorrhage “ – thus leading to her death…so this clears the air on the previous claims by some media and blogs  – where it was alleged that the late singer died of drugs and pulmonary embolism.
Creative and boundary-pushing artiste Goldie died on the 14th of February 2013, just hours after she arrived from Los Angeles where she had gone to experience the Grammy Awards. May her soul rest in peace!

Protesters Bars Mark and Tambuwal

Hundreds of protesters, who are disengaged members of staff of the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), in the early hours of Tuesday, stormed the National Assembly Complex in Abuja and grounded all  activities, locking out the President of the Senate,Senator David Mark,Speaker of the House  of Representatives, Alhaji Waziri Aminu Tambuwal, other lawmakers, staff and visitors to the complex.

While  all the lawmakers in the two chambers managed to gain entrance into the complex through the villa route, visitors and staff with valid ID cards made use of the alternative route after almost two kilometres trek as all  vehicles had no access into the complex.

The angry protesters who stormed the assembly complex with sleeping mats, beddings and their kids, vowed not to vacate the premises until their demands were met.

They were among other things,  demanding for the sack of the Director-General of the  Commission , Mr Chris Onyenema, by the Federal Government over the sack of over 4000 staff without following due process, reinstatement of the affected staff or payment of their full benefits.

The protesters, armed  with placards with various inscriptions, demanded that the DG be immediately relieved of his position as he was alleged to have swindled the agency through various acts of commission and omission.

According to some of the protesters, the disengaged and aggrieved former staff of the commission decided to storm the National Assembly complex by surprise as their earlier peaceful visits and petitions to  the National Assembly on the of the plight of the disengaged staff had not yielded any fruitful result.

However, the two chambers resumed their plenary sessions without making reference to the incident.

Health Talk 3

If you have been doing everything possible without seeing results for your efforts, it could be that you are making some of the mistakes that is inhibiting your weight loss goals.

Are you exercising regularly?

Are you also dieting?

What could make doing any of the above not yield the expected outcome?

We are going to look at 7 reasons why all your “right” methods to weight loss may actually be wrong.

Here are the top 7 mistakes women make that stops them from reaching their goals.

1. Dieting – Starving Yourself

The most common way most women who wants to loose weight follow is by starving themselves of the foods they love. The truth is, initially you loose weight dieting. The downside to this method of weight management is that the fat that you seek to burn is not what you burn when you diet.

Instead you burn your muscle tissues thus making you flabby and not strong. You feel weak as a result of this method.

When you diet and loose muscle, your fat burning comes to a half as the muscle is the mechanism that helps in fat burning. When most of it is lost, you develop a very weak metabolism for fat burning and thus you tend to gain weight over a prolonged period as you will be forced to go back to the foods you have left. This time you will grow fatter than you were.

2. Doing Only Cardio Exercises

What type of exercise do you engage in? Is it just light exercises like running, jogging, and brisk walking? Cardio exercises are the least effective form of exercises that works.

If you want to get good result, then you must increase your metabolism more than the output that cardios give. In order words, you must engage in exercises that will help you burn more calories while you are doing the workout and will also continue to burn calories off your body several hours or days after you stop exercising.

Such exercises are high intensity exercises designed to work up to 48 hours after your last workout. An example of such exercise is squats. You can do several squats per minute. This will get your heart beat rate high and keep burning calories long after.

3. Skipping Breakfast

I’m sure you have heard it before that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. The reason is this. When people sleep for eight hours or more, they have been fasting for that eight hours period. At that time, the body is starving for food nutrients to continue it’s metabolism, when it doesn’t get any, because you skip breakfast, it starts breaking down the muscle in the body for energy.

This is bad because the muscle is the number one organ for fat burning. When this happens, the body’s ability to burn calories is limited and slowed down such that other efforts to loose weight is minimised..

However, when you start the morning food with a healthy meal, you are less likely to overeat later in the day.

4. Dependence on Slimming Pills

Another approach that many busy women take is taking weight loss pills with the believe that these pills have the capacity to “miraculously” burn all the extra fat in the body. The industries promoting these pills have become so good with their advertising that the truth is shrouded by enticing promotion.

Truth is, there is no miracle weight loss pill that have the capacity to burn all the fat in your body without any form of activity on your own.

The only time you see women who have gotten in great shape thanks to a diet pill is on the advertisement for the diet pill.

5. Eating Out Most Of The Time

One of the problems of busy executives striving to loose weight is getting a good choice of a restaurant where healthy meals that enhances weight loss are served.

Most times, these food outlets don’t exist in your work place. To avoid the problem of eating junk while outside your home, you need to learn how to cook and bring it to your place of work in your flask. And in the few cases you can’t help it, ensure you watch the amount of calories you take and be selective in the foods you choose.

6. Eating Too Little

Three small meals a day is just the bare minimum for a healthy body. To succeed, you need to add 2 in-between meals of healthy snacks. This makes it a total of 5 meals per day. This doesn’t mean you are eating too much food, it simply means you are taking care to satisfy your body with all the healthy nutrients it needs to keep the fat burning muscles working optimally each day.

Of course, each course meal should be average size meals that you can eat without getting bloated. The 3 square meals should be regulated and shouldn’t be skipped if you are to achieve results.

7. Not Sleeping Enough

Did you read my last article on how sleeping late can affect you? Well little sleep, late night sleep and stress cause one not to lose weight. Have you watched your sleeping patterns lately?

Sleeping and having enough of it can help your goal of weight loss. If you are doing everything you can to lose weight but not getting the results you seek, use this list to cross check your activities to see if you are guilty of any of these mistakes.

The list above is not exhaustive, there are still more mistakes women make in their efforts to lose weight, that will be published in a future article.

From henceforth, commit to eliminating these mistakes one after the other and at the end of the day, you will come out with the dream size you have always wanted.

Families Of Slain Polio Workers Get N1m Each From FG

The Federal Government has donated N1million each to families of 10 polio workers killed in Kano last week.

The donation was announced by the Minister of State for Health, Dr. Mohammed Ali Pate, who led a Federal Government delegation to the state on Thursday to condole the families of the victims of the attack.

The minister said the decision to visit the state over the incident was arrived at the Federal Executive Council meeting in Abuja on Wednesday. He said families of each of the deceased will be given N1million, while survivors will receive N200, 000.

Accompanied by the Director General, National Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Ado Muhammad, the Emir of Argungu Alhaji Isma’ila Mera, Emir of Dass Alhaji Usman Bilyaminu and other traditional rulers, Pate described the killing of the health workers as “unfortunate” and sad, vowing that the attack will not deter the country from its resolve to eradicate polio.

The minister also called on security agencies to provide adequate protection to health workers.

It would be recalled that the state government and Dangote Foundation had donated N500, 000 each to family members of each deceased in addition to N250, 000 each to all the injured.
but is this the solution to the security challenges we'v been experiencing for a lomg time now?
The necessary measures need to be taken to prevent this from re-occuring,we shouldnt wait for things to happen before we could do something.
all these money the FG spend/waste in the name of compensation, should be used in purshasing security equipment to enable the security operatives do their job well.

Ex Tuface baby mama blast Goldie's husband

Sunmbo Ajaba, the born-again Baby Mama of Tuface Idibia is not happy with the way Andrew Harvey has been talking and granting press interviews immediately after his wife, Goldie Harvey died under mysterious circumstances on her return from the US. Sunmbo thinks if Mr Harvey is a “real” husband he would grieve and mourn Goldie in peace.

Below is what she said about Goldie’s husband media show….

No grieving husband grants interview 2days after loosing his wife. Andrew shld pls let Goldie rest peacefully hain! Dis drama is unnecessary— ♕Adesunmbo Ajaba™ (@Sunmbo) February 16, 2013

But after all the negative insinuations that have been trailing Goldie, especially with drug story, is it wrong for her husband to set the records straight? Do you agree with Sunmbo that he should keep quiet?

wife sets senator's aide ablaze

Tragedy struck on Wednesday, as senior legislative adviser to Senator Mohammed Saleh and a former staff of Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Kaduna, Mohammed Ibrahim Matazu, lost his life from severe burns he suffered when his wife set him ablaze. It was further learnt that the deceased had a domestic quarrel with his second wife, who allegedly complained that he was spending too much time with his first wife in Kaduna.

Saturday Sun gathered that Matazu’s second wife, simply called Mummy, had complained bitterly as her husband was preparing to travel to Kaduna, saying that she would no longer bear her husband’s long absence from her in Abuja. Sources revealed that in an attempt to stop her husband from travelling on that day, she allegedly drew some fuel from a generator set, emptied it on her husband and set him on fire at their Gwarinpa residence, Abuja.

Matazu, already aflame, was said to have rushed out of the house, shouting for help. He was rushed to hospital. He died at the Ahmadu Bello Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika, Zaria, where he was later referred to, where he died on Thursday. According to the deceased’s younger brother, Engineer Magaji Ibrahim, “on Wednesday last week, my elder brother called me that he was coming to Kaduna from Abuja to represent Senator Mohammed Saleh at a meeting with the NNPC in Kaduna, and that the senator was travelling to Imo State for another engagement.

So on Thursday morning, I saw missed call on my phone, and I called the number back, only for the voice at the other end asking me if I was Matazu’s brother, and I said yes. “He now narrated to me what happened to my brother, saying that my brother rushed out of his room with fire all over his body. He said that neigbhours rescued him, adding that my brother’s wife came out of the house and, taunting my brother, she asked: ‘what can you do now?’ That was at about 9 am on Thursday.

“When neighbours asked my brother what happened, he said his wife that poured petrol on his body and set fire on him. It was at this point that the neighbours now grabbed the wife, and called the police to arrest her. They all left for the police station with her. She is simply called Mummy. “My brother too followed them to the police station, even with pains all over his body. It happened in Gwarinpa, Abuja, and the day he was preparing to go to Kaduna for the meeting.

He was later rushed to Zone 3, Wuse hospital. He was briefly treated there as his body was bandaged. But according to the doctor’s report, 77 percent of his body was severely burnt, though he was speaking and discussing with people. “Then the senator came and met us, and advised that we should take him to the National Hospital, Abuja, but by the time we arrived the hospital, they said there was no more bed for admission. Then we went to University of Abuja Teaching hospital, in Gwagwalada, only to be told that they were on strike.

It was at this point that we begged for an ambulance to enable us take him to 44 Army Reference Hospital, Kaduna. When we arrived 44 Hospital at about 10 pm, they started treating him, but we later moved to Giwa Specialist Hospital, and from there we took him to Ahmadu Bello Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Shika, Zaria based on the advice on doctors at 44 Hospital. “The doctors at Shika, about seven of them, tried their best and treated him, and my brother was actually responding to treatment.

He was passing stool normal, and he even told me that he will survive, that I should not be disturbed. But at about 4pm on Wednesday this week, one of my younger brothers called me and said, we should take heart and pray to God that Matazu had given up the ghost. So he was buried on Thursday this week at Kudenda burial ground. “The wife said she poured him the petrol because he was over staying with first wife in Kaduna. But my brother was always in Kaduna because of the assignment the senator gave him to do, that is borehole projects. So he used to spend 10 days before going back to Abuja.

He was going round the seven local governments to supervise the boreholes project the senator is embarking on in those areas. “And he was spending almost five days in Abuja before coming to Kaduna again. But the wife continues to complain that he did not spend enough days in Abuja. She was the second wife. He married her about a year ago, but she has no baby yet. The first wife gave birth to six children.

She is currently being detained at Wuse police station.  We have nothing to say; we have left everything to law to take its due course.” Reacting to this, Senator Saleh said: “Ibrahim Matazu was a very pleasant and friendly personality. He contributed a lot to the development of our party, that is Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) and in my legislative duty he did his best to contribute to the smooth running of my office.

He was actually the pillar of  the office. This is a plain murder case; it is a case between the state and the accused. His wife, who committed this heinous crime, is in police detention now and I intend to follow through to ensure that justice is done.  I don’t know if this case is a bailable one, but we will ensure that justice is done; we will do it.”

Senator Saleh, a retired Major General, who is representing Kaduna Central Senatorial zone on the platform of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), engaged Matazu as his senior aide soon after he won the election. Matazu also worked at Nagarta Radio, a Kaduna based electronic medium, after his short stint at FRCN

prezzo's sorrowfull poem to goldie

Sorry  i had to break my  promise of not blogging today.but this poem written by prezzo really touched me,it broke ma heart.incase you don't know prezzo.
he is Late Goldie's Big Brother housemate and friend.it was rumoured that they were dating and,I heard that he was planing to propose to her yesterday .
Prezzo has expressed his pain over Goldie's death on his Facebook page.

The Kenyan rapper, Prezzo who became romantically linked with Goldie following their love affair on the Big Brother Stargame TV show wrote:

“God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not meant to be So he put his arms around you, and whispered come with me With tearful eyes we watched you, as we saw you pass away Although we love you deeply, we could not make you stay Your golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us...
He only takes the Best.

UPDATE:GOLDIE'S DEATH

Kennis music has released a press statement this morning concerning the cause of her death.below reads the statement;
“With a deep sense of loss, we announce the shocking death of our darling music star, Goldie Harvey. Goldie, 31, died on Thursday after she complained of a severe headache shortly after her arrival from the United States where she went to witness the Grammy Award. She was rushed from her Park View, Ikoyi, Lagos residence to her official hospital, Reddington, Victoria Island, Lagos, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival at exactly 7:30pm in the evening.
We consider this period a gloomy moment for us and the entire Nigerian music industry in view of the circumstance in which she passed away; the abundance of talent she exhibited in her short but eventful music career and the various opportunities her trip to the United States of America would have availed her. She is survived by her father, step- mother, brothers and sisters. We deeply sympathise with her family and fans all over the world and very grateful to all and sundry, especially, the vibrant Nigerian media for their concern and prompt reportage. We shall keep everybody informed as events unfold as we are devastated by the sudden loss.”
am still shocked, wish am in some kind of dream.i believe God have a reason why this happened.
i pray that He(GOD) grant the family the strength to bear her loss.
she would be greatly missed. I LOVE U GOLDIE. RIPP.
Today is a no blogging day for me.

The Malachy Prophesy;is the World really coming to an End????

Born in 1094 A.D. at Armagh, Ireland, Saint Malachy is also known as: Maolmhaodhog ua Morgair; Maol Maedoc; and Malachy O'Morgair. He died as he himself predicted, on November 2, 1148 at Clairvaux, France. Malachy was canonized the first Irish Saint in the Catholic Church by Pope Clement III in 1190 A.D.
In 1139 AD, a man named St. Malachy was given a prophetic vision. He saw all of the Catholic Popes that would come in the future. He wrote down a short description of each one. Throughout history, each one has been accurate. He foresaw 112 Popes until Jesus returned and that # 111 would see the beginning of the tribulation. The current Pope is # 111.Saint Malachy (1094 - November 2, 1148) was known as great prophet. While in Rome in 1139 he received a vision showing him all the Popes from his day to the end of time. According to these prophecies, only two Popes remaining after John Paul II
Through the centuries, his prophecies have turned out to be amazingly accurate, even prophesying the date of his death. In all, 112 popes and their characteristics are listed from 1143 to the alleged end of the world, or perhaps religion as we know it, when truth is inlay revealed about human creation and destiny.

Saint Malachy's final words were: "Rome, the seat of the Vatican, will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people."

Prophecy of the Popes is a list of 112 short phrases in Latin. They purport to describe each of the Roman Catholic popes (along with a few anti-popes), beginning with Pope Celestine II (elected in 1143) and concluding with a pope described in the prophecy as "Peter the Roman", whose pontificate will end in the destruction of the city of Rome.

Malachy's Prophecies - The Last 10 Popes
1. The Burning Fire. PIUS X. 1903-1914. This Pope showed a burning passion for spiritual renewal in the Church.

2. Religion Laid Waste. BENEDICT XV. 1914-1922. During this Pope's reign saw Communism move into Russia where religious life was laid waste, and World War I with the death of millions of Christians who were carnage in Flanders Field and elsewhere.

3. Unshaken Faith. PIUS XI. 1922-1939. This Pope faced tremendous pressure from fascist and sinister powers in Germany and Italy, but he was an outspoken critic of Communism and Fascism which enraged Hitler.

4. An Angelic Shepherd. PIUS XII. 1939-1958. This Pope had an affinity for the spiritual world and received visions which have not been made public. Peter Bander says Pius XII "has emerged as one of the great Popes of all time," and he "was in the truest sense of the word an Angelic Pastor to the flock..."

5. Pastor and Mariner. JOHN XXIII. 1958-1963. John was a pastor to the world, much beloved, and the Patriarch of Venice. The connection to "mariner" is thus remarkable.

6. Flower of Flowers. PAUL VI. 1963-1978. Paul's coat-of-arms depicts three fleurs-de-lis, corresponding to Malachay's prophecy. His coat of arms included three fleurs-de-lis (iris blossoms).

7. Of the Half Moon. JOHN PAUL I. 1978-1978. John Paul I was elected Pope on August 26, 1978, when there was a half moon. He reigned 33 days, that is, about one month, when he died, although many think he was murdered. He was the 109th Pope - is "De Medietate Lunae" (Of the Half Moon). The corresponding pope was John Paul I (1978-78), who was born in the diocese of Belluno (beautiful moon) and was baptized Albino Luciani (white light). He became pope on August 26, 1978, when the moon appeared exactly half full. It was in its waning phase. He died the following month, soon after an eclipse of the moon.

8. The Labor of the Son. JOHN PAUL II. 1978-2005. Pope John Paul II was the most traveled Pope in history. He circled the globe numerous times, preaching to huge audiences everywhere he went. He survived an assassination attempt. He has written a book which has enjoyed a large circulation. Like the sun which never ceases to labor and provides light daily, this Pope has been incessant. He was born on May 18, 1920. On that date in the morning there was a near total eclipse of the sun over Europe. Prophecy - The 110th Pope is "De Labore Solis" (Of the Solar Eclipse, or, From the Toil of the Sun). Like the sun he came out of the East (Poland).

9. The Glory of the Olive. The Order of St. Benedict has said this Pope will come from their order. It is interesting that Jesus gave his apocalyptic prophecy about the end of time from the Mount of Olives. This Pope will reign during the beginning of the tribulation Jesus spoke of. The 111th prophesy is "Gloria Olivae" (The Glory of the Olive). The Order of Saint Benedict has claimed that this pope will come from their ranks. Saint Benedict himself prophesied that before the end of the world his Order, known also as the Olivetans, will triumphantly lead the Catholic Church in its fight against evil.

10. PETER THE ROMAN - This final Pope will likely be Satan, taking the form of a man named Peter who will gain a worldwide allegiance and adoration. He will be the final antichrist which prophecy students have long foretold. If it were possible, even the very elect would be deceived. The 112th prophesy states: "In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Petrus Romanus, who will feed his flock amid many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people

STRANGE

Lightning strikes St. Peters Basilica hours after the Pope announced resignation
.Was it just Mother Nature or a sign from God? Lightning appeared to strike St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City on Monday just hours after Pope Benedict XVI announced his resignation, according to the BBC. The lightning strike happened around 6 p.m. local time. Photo above.

AFP was the first to publish the startling photo of a lightning bolt coming out of the heavens and appearing to strike the dome of St. Peter's Basilica, one of Catholicism's holiest sites. AFP photographer Filippo Monteforte caught the amazing photograph during a storm.
"It was icy cold and the rain was falling in sheets," he told AFP. "When the storm started, I thought that lightning might strike the rod, so I decided it was worth seeing whether – if it DID strike – I could get the shot at exactly the right moment.”
He waited two hours before lightning struck twice and he captured a still image. “The first bolt was huge and lit up the sky, but unfortunately I missed it," he told AFP. "I had better luck the second time, and was able to snap a couple of images of the dome illuminated by the bolt.” (Huffington Post)

Relationship Secrets

Here is a list of things that most times causes a good relationship not to last like it should.
1. Loving the person too much or choking your partner with your love - No matter how in-love you both might be, the moment one seems to be choking the other with too much love, it fizzles out the love of the other partner leading his or her love to depreciate. Try to always make it balance or else you just might scare your partner away.

2. Desperation - when you show signs of desperation in your relationship, like trying to trap the person to yourself through marriage, this scares the hell out of some people, especially if your partner is not ready to be hooked up or where the relationship its still in its early stage, don't talk about marriage except if you are both desperate about it.

3. Tight Fisted - As a guy if you are the stingy type, and have never cared about your girlfriend's finances, neither have you bought her any gifts, then I feel sorry for you. Same thing goes for the ladies.

4. Immaturity - No girl wants a childish kid as a boyfriend or someone who talks and does things like a kid.

5. Mode Of Dressing - If your mode of dressing is really horrible, please do something about it fast!

6. Being Untidy - Dirty finger nails and toes nails can also lead to break-ups in relationships.

7. Flirting - Flirting might be fun, and might seem not strong enough to dissolve a relationship, the truth is, it can!

8. Too Demanding - you want this, you want that, you want all. Its better you take a chill pill or else, your partner would definitely get tired of you someday.

9. Lack Of Good Character - When you are too arrogant, too violent, too pushy, always engaging in one fight or the other...this is a big turn-off!

10. Respect your partner's decision always.

News Update:Keshi withdraws Resignation.

The news of Keshi's resignation went viral yestaday after the super Eagles Victory on sunday.many were suprised and worried that a man that has led us to this Victory would be leaving the team.
Well, the good news is Keshi is still with us for now.
According to Keshi, "I gave them (Nigeria Football Federation) my letter of resignation immediately after last night's game, but I haven't heard from them yet."

Meanwhile, a report from a very highly placed official in the Presidency noted in an exclusive interview on Monday said that the matter was taken up immediately after the president confirmed from Keshi his resignation status.

The source added that after the President's discussion with Keshi, he has agreed to withdraw his resignation and continue his job with the team.

"Yes, it is very true that Keshi resigned his position as coach of the Eagles. That he confirmed to us. It was quite alarming given the complaints he brought up. There were a lot on things going on that the nation didn't know", the official said.

"He informed us about backlog of salaries, his official car that has only been on paper since he took office. Even in South Africa, money was a lot of issue. It is appalling but the key thing is that Keshi has calmed down and has agreed to continue as the coach of Nigeria."

From the reports reaching us, we gather that all efforts to reach Keshi since last n9t has proved abortive. It was not easy getting a response from NFF on the matter.

We also learnt that the members of the Federation went into an emergency meeting on Monday over the matter.

Looking back, just before the last group match against Ethiopia the NFF had issued an official press release stating that Keshi had "no excuse for failure."

As a result of Keshi's hard work, the Super Eagles defeated Ethiopia to qualify for the next stage.

Keshi in one of his reactions afterwards said he was virtually on the sack list until the tide turned for him.

"Nobody believed in me. They were sure that this team would not get anywhere and they wanted to sack me during the competition," he said.

In recent developments, we gather that Keshi is expected back into the country with the team today for the Tuesday night reception holding at the Presidential Villa, irrespective of the situation.

Health Talk

A lot of us eat,not minding how healthy the food is.have heard  alot of ladies complain that they still getting fat/adding weight despite not eating much.
How healthy is the food you take?often times than not,we tend to take a lot of starchy food.an average Nigerian consume a whole lot of carbs, this leads to the high number of diabetic cases we are having in most part of the country today.
A friend sent me a mail,though actually subscribed to his programme.so here goes;
Through out your course with me am going to be using
the terms burning fat, losing fat and melting fat?.
They mean the same thing BUT, losing fat is not the
same as losing weight. Anybody can lose weight.

When you fast or skip meals, your weight drops- you
are not burning fat, just painfully losing your muscle
and water from your body.

The MeltDFat diet is ALL about burning the fat and
feeding the muscle. This is the only solution for
permanent Fat loss and Weight management.

Weight loss and fat loss are not the same thing.
You must learn to distinguish between the two.
The scale can be very misleading if it's the only
criteria you use for measurement.

For example, a woman could weigh 50kg and have
33% body fat. That's what I call a skinny fat
person. In contrast, a female bodybuilder could
weigh 65kg and be quite lean, with body fat as 14%.

With this in mind, your goal should never be
weight loss. Your goal should be losing fat while
maintaining muscle. Your muscle is the engine that
controls fat loss.

When you starve yourself or skip meals, you also
starve the muscle. When you starve the muscle, you
lose muscle along with the fat. When you lose muscle,
your metabolism slows down and your body enters the
starvation mode. When your body enters starvation mode,
fat loss comes to a STOP as your body tries to conserve
its energy.

When the fat loss stops, you both give up (and gain
back all the fat you lost), or you grit your teeth and
drop your calories (starve yourself) even more. If you
drop your calories even more, your metabolism slows down
even more. And if your metabolism slows down even more,
fat loss comes to a screeching STOP again.

Eventually, you always end giving up because you can't
keep dropping your calories forever. It's a vicious
cycle.

You just can't win the very-low-calorie-diet game.

If you want a complete package on how to lose weight
in just 28 days, eating local Nigerian foods, then
order the listed 5 short manuals below.

4 D Love of our super Eagles

got this inspirational massage from a friend and thought could share.its a story of one of our finest in the super Eagles.the massage goes thus;
This is the story of a young boy whose parents were murdered during 2002 riots in Kaduna. He was aged 11 years at the time. His parents, Mr Austine and Mrs Josephine Moses, were missionaries until they met their untimely death.
The boy left his house to play football but returned home to see that all his parents had laboured for had been razed down and he would never see his mother and father again.
He was taken to London by his uncle almost immediately after the incident. While in London, he began deploying his football skills. Though his parents were murdered, his passion for football was never killed. He played football for his school and later for a local Tandrige League club until Crystal Palace FC approached him. From that point, his career progressed in leaps and bounds.
This player played for England's under 16, 17, 19 and 21 teams between 2005 and 2010 scoring 11 goals for England during this period. He later moved to Wigan Athletic and now he plays for Chelsea. This footballer is called VICTOR MOSES.
His story is a touching one, I share his pains. I also share his courage. He had a choice not to step into Nigeria again but he didn't take that option. When the call to serve his fatherland came, Moses dumped England and embraced Nigeria... That is patriotism!
Today, we see a Victor Moses bringing joy to every Nigerian including those who may have inspired his parent's death... That is Love!
On Sunday, Moses would stand for the National Anthem and pledge allegiance to a country that couldn't defend his parents... That is faith!
Moses would deliver the "African Cup of Nations" trophy to Nigeria not minding what had happened in the past... That is forgiveness! Moses rose through bitterness and despair to the limelight of hope and courage.
He never gave up on his country. He persevered... That is purpose!
If someone like Victor Moses, despite the bitter past, never gave up on Nigeria, then why should we

4 D love of super Eagles

must He propose???

most ladies allways look forward to that precious moment when he would get down on his knees and pop the "will u marry" me question.
Most men especially from this part of the country where come from do not bother about proposing to a lady they just tell the girl want to marry you or they wana see your parents. And most men just do it for the sake of doing it.
So my question nw is;is it necessary for your man to propose to you especially when u lready know the relationship is haded for the alter, and for those that have experienced this, how does it feel, were u suprised rjust ated suprised.
