Breaking news:PortHarcourt comes to a standstill as Ogoni protest

 According to reports reaching me,some parts of the Garden City,Portharcourt have been blocked by Ogoni people who are protesting the pollution of their land and water through activities carried out by the oil companies in that area.
The protesters which blocked the East West road comprises of adults,youths and children were seen chanting and protesting on these roads ,commuters have been kept on for three hours,workers and business men alike are seen complaining and looking stranded as there are no alternative means of transportation,even if there is; the roads are all blocked.
Security forces were seen around ensuring that the protest is peacefull but making no effort to stop them or remove the roadblocks.
The protesters which wore Ken Saro Wiwa crested shirt,were with placards asking President Goodluck Jonathan to implement the UNEP reports
