Dr. Chris Ngige,the candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC), Mr.Ifeanyi Ubah of Labour Party (LP) and Comrade Tony Nwoye, Peoples Democratic party (PDP) have opted out of the supplementary poll.
In a statement by Mr. Emmanuel Ibeleme, a member of the Ifeanyi Ubah Campaign Organisation, he said, "Labour Party will not take part in the supplementary election which is ongoing already.
Meanwhile, communities retorted to traditional means of mobilization by hiring town criers.
The town criers went round the different communities with a public address system appealing to electorate to come out today and cast their votes.
Supplementary elections are expected to place in 210 polling units across Anambra state.
