President Goodluck Jonathan will today join top officials of the ruling People's Democratic Party, PDP, to flag off the campaign for the party's candidate for the November 16 governorship poll in Anambra State Mr. Tony Nwonye.
The flag off which is coming barely four days after the Vice President, Namadi Sambo and the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur presented Nwoye with the party's flag at the Ekwueme Square in Awka, will take place at the Bascilica field, Holy Trinity Catholic Cathedral, Onitsha.
The presence of the President in the state today will dismiss rumours making the rounds that Presidency Jonathan was behind both the APGA candidate, Chief Willie Obiano and his Labour Party, LP, counterpart, Chief Ifeanyi Ubah.
Accordingly, the Nwonye Campaign Organisation has advised the people of the state to ignore alleged rumours making the rounds that the presidency was sponsoring an opposition candidate for the Saturday poll.
From here ,we saying Nnooooo Mr President
