President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday hosted the victorious Under-17 Golden Eaglets of Nigeria after they became the first country to win the FIFA Under-17 World Cup for the fourth time (1985, 1993,2007 & n w 2013), by defeating Mexico 3 - 0 in the final.
The president announced a cash reward of two million Naira each while Members of the coaching crew were given three million Naira,doctors and paramedics N500 thousand,and others N300 thousand each by the president who described the victory of the eagles as a pride to the nation and the continent.
